2012-2013 Registration

Thank you to everyone who invited friends and family to join us at Raindrop!  Word of mouth has proven to be our best form of advertising.  We have fantastic retention and early registration rates this year!

As of today, we have only a handful of spaces left school wide (see the numbers in the post below).  If your desired class is full, please don't get too discouraged as situations change over the summer and we often will end up with an extra space or two.  Be sure to fill out a registration form for our waitlist so that when a space does open up, it's all yours!

With our successful fundraising this year, tution rates will not need to be increased for 2012-2013! Toddler class will remain at $35/mo and Preschool classes at $75/mo. Scholarships will also be available. Please see the links for our scholarship application, registration forms, and school handbook.

Since the school is run by parent volunteers (that's what a co-op is in case you were wondering!), the most effective form of communication is email. This allows us to work on preschool business between our busy work and home lives. Our wonderful teacher is our only paid employee, the rest of us are simply enjoying being involved in our preschooler's first school experience. Totally worth it!

Welcome to our new Raindrop Families! 
Thank you for turning in your registration forms early!

By now, we should have received your registration form, registration fee ($20, $10 for additional siblings), and one month tuition. An additional month tuition will be due September 1st so that by the time school starts, registration, first, and last month tuition are all paid. If you prefer to pay all at once, that is fine too! We still have scholarships available so if times are very tight financially, please consider submitting an application with your registration.

We will be hosting a garage sale fundraiser in June. If you are interested in helping, donating, or would just like to stop by, that would be great! Please watch our calendar for more information or email www.raindropcoop.org

Our garden will need watering over the summer as well, if you are interested in picking up a week please let us know!

Otherwise, enjoy your summer and we'll look forward to seeing you in the fall! We will hopefully be sending out at least one summer newsletter and will include information about our parent orientation, room "warming", and other upcoming activities.

I have had the pleasure of helping most of you through the registration process and hope you enjoy Raindrop as much as I have the past 4 years! Since my youngest child and I are graduating this year, Michele Plett will be our new registrar beginning mid-May. Michele has been an active member of our co-op for the past two years and is very knowledgable about our school. You can reach her just the same through our raindrop email.

Class Schedule and Special Events

Toddler/Parent Classes are for children age 12 months to 3 years. A parent/guardian attends class with the child. Enrollment numbers listed are for the 2012-2013 school year and are current as of 5/16/2012

• The Morning Class meets on Thursdays from 9:30-11:30 am (NEW FOR 2012-2013, AM TODDLERS WILL MEET FROM 9:15-11:15 ON THURSDAYS)
• Capacity: 10; Openings: 0

• The Evening Class meets on Thursdays from 6:00 - 8:00 pm
• Capacity: 10; Openings: 1

Preschool classes are taught by Mrs. Lyndsay Lenss. Parents participate as classroom assistants on a rotating basis.

• 3/4 Preschool Class meets on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:00 - 11:30 am
• Capacity: 12; Openings: 2

• 4/5 Preschool Class meets on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 12:30 -3 pm
• Capacity: 12; Openings: 2
